Job Description
BLUE SKY/TASK ORDER/IDIQ/FULL TIME: Various locations in Afghanistan. Responsible to the program manager for the management and supervision of training programs. Conducts research to develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate training materials. Prepares and modifies training materials. Trains personnel through formal classroom courses, workshops and seminars. Develops computer based training materials and courses. For field training, specialists will require the military and/or law enforcement functional skills relevant to the topic. Coordinate and communicate with US, NATO, and Afghan Air Force personnel. supervise and monitor training records and the maintenance of training records. Prepares reports, briefings and other documents.
Basic Qualifications
At a minimum should have a bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and seven (7) years of relevant training experience in military systems or eight (8) years of additional relevant work experience (fifteen (15) years total) in lieu of a bachelors degree. Ability to coordinate and communicate with US, NATO, and Afghan Air Force personnel.
Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted based on the Typical Minimums required for this job which are 15 years of related experience and a BS degree in a related discipline.
Desired skills
Experience in supervising training in an FMS environment as a manager and/or instructor. Experience with both flight, ground, simulator training plus maintenance training. Current or previous FAA Commercial Airman's Certificate with multi-engine and instrument rating or FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P;).
