Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III - Airframe Condition Evaluation (ACE) Team Lead for a position at Ft. Campbell, KY. The Airframe Condition Evaluation (ACE) is a unique structural evaluation accomplished by using specific depot level criteria and the aid of tools such as flashlights, mirrors, tapping instruments, and borescopes to determine integrity of specific airframes in the US Army Rotory Wing Fleet that are most in need of (PDM) Programmed Depot Maintenance. The Team Leader shall function as the Principal Point of Contact (PPOC) with unit personnel and RASM-C production personnel. The Leader shall provide direction and oversight for the evaluator(s) for which he exercises lead person authority.
Basic Qualifications
Must have attended the required annual ACE orientation held at Corpus Christi, TX (the most recent class was held in Feb. 2014) Possess the qualifications of an ACE evaluator with two years' experience as an evaluator Six years of total experience in aircraft maintenance Must be able to deploy to customer required locations Must have experience with one or more of the following aircraft: UH-60, CH-47, AH-64 Have a working knowledge of technical publications and the Army's Aviation Logistics Information System, ULLS-AE Must be able to prioritize workloads Must be able to lead teams through complex aircraft relevant tasks Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and management both in writing and verbally Must be able to assemble reports in MS Word and Excel Very good computer skills are required Must be capable of setting up annual schedules with more than 30 supported customers on an annual basis Must have safety shoes and safety glasses Must provide personal tools per minimum tool listing
