Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Special Mission Wing (SMW) Deputy Project Manager (DPM) for Afghanistan. This position is located in Kabul, Afghanistan. This position is responsible to the Program Manager for designated SMW aspects of program management and will supervise other program personnel. Duties include: Plans, schedules, and implementation of operations, maintenance, logistics and support program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product; primary CONUS reach-back support, coordinating activities from multiple sites with all Project Management Office (PMO) support functions Coordinates activities between the US Government, program personnel, subcontractors and vendors for SMW activities to provide safe and efficient mission accomplishment for SMW rotary and fixed wing aircraft Fills in for the Program Manager, as required Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, quality assurance, and project management policies and regulatory compliance Frequent contact and interaction with US, NATO, and Foreign Military Students (FMS)
Basic Qualifications
Secret security clearance is required Eight (8) years of relevant work experience in systems development and engineering in communications, command and control, aviation, electronics, data and information processing or modeling and simulation Should have background in a Department of Defense development and/or acquisition environment Must be knowledgeable and conversant in military flight operations, safety, standardization, and supervision instructions, student management, and maintenance Experience in supervising training in an FMS environment as a manager and/or instructor as training is an inherent part of the job Should be knowledgeable of Flight Operations Plan (FOP) and Ground Operating Procedures (GOP) Current or previous experience in providing all services, supplies, materials, equipment and personnel necessary to perform the tasks in providing CLS for aircraft maintained by the SMW, including the Mi-8/17 rotary wing aircraft; the PC-12 fixed wing aircraft; or other non-standard rotary wing aircraft Experience in providing Contractor Logistics Support for Mi-8/17, PC-12, or other non-standard rotary wing aircraft simulators Experience in preparation of technical manuals A thorough working knowledge of TO military specifications is essential Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering management, mathematics, science, business, or logistics from a college or university accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education At a minimum should have additional course work or participation in applicable seminars/symposia Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted for this position which is eight (8) years of related experience and a BS degree in a related discipline OR 15 years of experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
