Job Description
This position is for various positions in Afghanistan: KAIA and KAF. The QA Engineer may be required to accompany aircraft on project flights away from the work site and perform aircraft maintenance at various locations. Duties include: Coordinate QC workflow and Technical Inspections with Production Control (PC) Coordinate aircraft technical inspections for completed maintenance actions Perform technical inspections of aircraft systems, sub-systems and components Coordinate technical assistance, when requested, for scheduled maintenance test flights (MTFs) and maintenance operational checks (MOCs) Use prescribed maintenance technical publications when performing technical inspections Inspect aircraft logbooks for completeness and accuracy Conduct foreign object damage (FOD) inspections around work areas Assist in the establishment and sustainment of the technical library Monitor posting of mandated changes to maintenance technical publications Conduct periodic inspections (as directed) of maintenance technical publication reference library for completeness and accuracy Assist maintenance personnel and prepare and submit recommendations for changes to maintenance technical publications. Responsible for a quality control management system and monitors and advises management personnel on how the system is performing Assess product specifications and customer requirements Establish quality requirements for external suppliers Ensure compliance with national and international standards Consider the application of environmental and health/safety standards Establish and maintain controls and documentation Collate analyze performance data and charts against defined parameters Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood and executed
Basic Qualifications
Secret security clearance required Four (4) years of direct experience in aircraft maintenance, civilian or military technical school degree, and Airframe & Power Plant (A&P;) License Must possess a Current FAA Commercial Airframe and Powerplant (A&P;) Certificate Must have Previous Technical Inspector experience on Fixed Wing (PC-12) aircraft Must be familiar with FAA technical inspection and documentation requirements Must be able to pass/qualify all CENTCOM CRC medical and training requirements Must be knowledgeable and conversant in military maintenance operations, safety, and QC standardization and inspection procedures Must be able to perform the full range of airframe and engine maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices and certify accomplished work. This entails the ability to: troubleshoot engines and systems; use the federal supply system; read and understand technical manuals and schematics; read and interpret all instruments; use special test equipment and tools; research the technical library; perform full system checkouts on all aircraft systems; perform mechanic test flight duties; and perform complete servicing of aircraft

Should be knowledgeable of FOP and GOP Operations guides Should have knowledge and basic understanding of and familiarity with Military and DoD quality standards, such as ISO 9000 and AS 9100 series guidance Military deployment experience is highly desired and deployment experience to the CENTCOM region is desired

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
